Palantir Forward Deployed Software Engineer (5/5, Aug 16, 2024): Great company and culture

This Taro post collects a Palantir Forward Deployed Software Engineer review plus interview experiences. A current employee with under a year at the company rated it 5/5, praising the people and environment, with occasional busyness as the only downside. Interview accounts describe a recruiter-initiated process with a short technical screen, a keyword-sensitive resume pre-screen, and a candidate who passed HR, an OA, and a Karat interview but was told the role was filled.

Key points

• Current employee rates Palantir 5/5 for people and culture
• Only cited con: workload gets busy at times
• One interview: recruiter outreach then a 30-minute easy LeetCode screen
• Resume pre-screen is keyword-sensitive; match the job description closely
• One candidate passed all stages but the position was already filled
